Instructions
Snap the stems off 1 lb of green beans and place them in a large saucepan.
Add water till the green beans are sumerged and cover with a lid.
Heat on high heat until water is steaming.
Turn heat off.
Let stand for 6 minutes.
Drain the green beans into a colander.
Heat 2 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp olive oil, and 3 cloves minced garlic over medium-high heat.
When the butter has melted, return the green beans to the saucepan.
Add 1/2 tbsp salt.
Stir the green beans until evenly mixed.
Cook for 4 minutes.
Place the lid on the saucepan.
Turn heat off.
Let sit for 5 minutes.
