Korean Meatballs
Ingredients
Korean Meatballs
- 1 1/2 lbs ground meat
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 onion
- 3 green onions
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp orange zest
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Marinade
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 green onions
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
Korean Meatballs
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Mix 1 1/2 lbs ground meat, 2 eggs, 1/2 onion, 3 green onions, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tsp orange zest, 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into small balls.
- Place alumniuim foil on a casserole dish.
- Place meatballs in dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Rine meatballs in colander.
Marinade
- Whisk 2/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup water, 4 green onions, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tsp orange zest and 1/2 tsp pepper in a large pot.
- Bring pot to boil.
- Reduce to simmer.
- Add meatballs.
- Cover and simmer for 1 – 2 hours.
