Ingredients

Korean Meatballs

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Marinade

  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 4 green onions
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

Korean Meatballs

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Mix 1 1/2 lbs ground meat, 2 eggs, 1/2 onion, 3 green onions, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tsp orange zest, 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper in a bowl.
  • Shape into small balls.
  • Place alumniuim foil on a casserole dish.
  • Place meatballs in dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Rine meatballs in colander.

Marinade

  • Whisk 2/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup water, 4 green onions, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tsp orange zest and 1/2 tsp pepper in a large pot.
  • Bring pot to boil.
  • Reduce to simmer.
  • Add meatballs.
  • Cover and simmer for 1 – 2 hours.
