Chinese Chicken

Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground chicken
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp ginger
  • 3 tsp siracha sauce (or chilli paste)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 4 tbsp seaseme oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstartch (or arrowroot)
  • green onions
  • seaseme seeds

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet on medium-high heat.
  • Cook 2 lbs ground chicken.
  • Add 4 tsp minced garlic and 2 tbsp ginger.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add 3 tsp siracha sauce and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
  • Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Whisk together 1 cup chicken broth, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 4 tbsp sesame oil and 2 tbsp cornstartch.
  • Pour sauce over chicken.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Optional – serve with green onions and sesame seeds.
