Rotini Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 14 oz rotiniti pasta
  • 4 cups sharp cheddarshredded cheese
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Heat skillet on medium-high heat.
  • Boil water in a pot.
  • Add 1 1/2 lbs of ground chuck to the skillet.
  • Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp black pepper to the ground chuck.
  • Cook until meat is browned.
  • Add 14 oz rotini pasta to boiling water.
  • Cook pasta for 8 minutes.
  • Pour meat into a colander to drain excess fat.
  • Add meat to a large mixing bowl.
  • When pasta is done, pour into a colander.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck, 14 oz rotini pasta, 2 cups sharp cheddar shredded cheese, 16 oz tomato sauche and 1 tbsp Italian seasoning in a large bowl together.
  • Place a layer of pasta miture into a casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the pasta mixture.
  • Repeat layering pasta mixture and cheese until gone.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
