Green Beans

Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp salt
Instructions
- Snap the stems off 1 lb of green beans and place them in a large saucepan.
- Add water till the green beans are sumerged and cover with a lid.
- Heat on high heat until water is steaming.
- Turn heat off.
- Let stand for 6 minutes.
- Drain the green beans into a colander.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp olive oil, and 3 cloves minced garlic over medium-high heat.
- When the butter has melted, return the green beans to the saucepan.
- Add 1/2 tbsp salt.
- Stir the green beans until evenly mixed.
- Cook for 4 minutes.
- Place the lid on the saucepan.
- Turn heat off.
- Let sit for 5 minutes.
