French Toast

French Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 1 inch brioche bread
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Heat 2 tbsp butter on medium-high heat.
  • Whisk 1/2 cups milk, 4 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/4 tsp salt.
  • Dip one piece of toast in the egg mixture.
  • Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Brown 1/4 cup butter in the skillet on medium-low heat.
  • Pour butter over french toast.
