French Toast
Ingredients
- 6 1 inch brioche bread
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter on medium-high heat.
- Whisk 1/2 cups milk, 4 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/4 tsp salt.
- Dip one piece of toast in the egg mixture.
- Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Brown 1/4 cup butter in the skillet on medium-low heat.
- Pour butter over french toast.
