Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • butter
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp rum extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Optional – Peel bananas, cut into pieces and let sit out for 6 – 8 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Hand mix 3 ripe bananas, 3/4 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs.
  • Mix the 3/4 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp rum extract, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt into the banana mixture.
  • Mash 1 banana manually and fold it into the banana mixture.
  • Grease the pan with butter on all sides.
  • Pour into the greased pan.
  • Bake for 60 minutes.
  • Turn the oven off.
  • Crack the oven door and let cool for 20 minutes.
