Bacon Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 sweet onion
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 6 strips bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375.
  • Dice 1/4 sweet onion as small as possible.
  • Mix 1 lb ground chuck, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese, 2 eggs, 1/4 diced sweet onion, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper in a large bowl.
  • Place six strips of bacon next to each other on a cutting board or wax paper.
  • Shape the meatloaf mixture into a log and place on the strips of bacon.
  • Wrap the bacon around the meatloaf.
  • Place the meatloaf in a casserole dish.
  • Bake for 50 minutes.
  • Broil for 3 minutes to crisp the bacon.
